Celebrate the pagan Festival of Lughnasa
Lughnasa, a gaelic festival marking the beginning of the harvest season will be celebrated in Craggaunowen August 3rd and 4th.
Dressed in costumes spanning from the Bronze Age, through Iron Age, Early Medieval to 16th Century join us for a Lughnasa Festival celebration kie no other at Craggaunowen.
The festival will have a multitude of ongoing displays demonstrating various aspects of Ireland's history and heritage, from different time periods with showcase events such as a Brehon Law Trials and a hand-to-hand combat demonstration.
